Combined Ice Hockey Team to Play Historic First Game
(WAYNE, NJ)—A combined ice hockey team of players from Wayne Hills and Wayne Valley will play a historic first game together at the Ice Vault against West Milford at 7:30 PM on Saturday, November 25th.  This game will represent the first time players from both Wayne high schools will be playing together as one team under a co-op option offered by the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA) and the Big North Conference.  Please click here for full press release.

Wayne Township Board of Education Recognizes National Merit and AP Scholars
On Thursday, November 16, 2017, the Wayne Township Board of Education recognized 66 students for their academic achievements with the National Merit and Advanced Placement Scholarship Program.  Please click here for full press release.

Wayne Hills H.S. Holds National Honor Society Induction Ceremony
On Thursday, October 26, 2017, the Wayne Hills High School chapter of the National Honor Society held their induction ceremony.  Selection for membership is the highest honor that can be accorded a high school student. This honor is bestowed upon students who can meet high standards in the four pillars of NHS: Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character.  The Principal’s Faculty Council reviewed the applicants, and as a result, 95 students were inducted this year. Wayne Township Public Schools 2017 Red Ribbon Week at George Washington, Schuyler Colfax and Anthony Wayne Middle Schools
The Wayne Township Public Schools 2017 Red Ribbon Week was highlighted at the middle schools during a riveting assembly featuring former WWE Wrestler, Marc Mero on his BADD (Be Against Destructive Decisions) Tour.  Please click here for full announcement.
Wayne Valley High School Holds National Honor Society Induction Ceremony
On Wednesday, October 18, 2017, the Wayne Valley High School chapter of the National Honor Society held their induction ceremony. The Principal’s Faculty Council reviewed the applicants, and as a result, 140 students were inducted this year.  Congratulations!  
STEAM TANK Finalists
Teams of 5th grade students from Lafayette and Randall Carter elementary schools were selected to participate in the Second Annual STEAM TANK Finals. Co-sponsored by the New Jersey School Board Association and the US Army, this competition is held in Atlantic City at the end of October. Please click here for full announcement.

2017 Week of Respect
Randall Carter will hold our annual Week of Respect from October 2-6, 2017.  This year, in addition to our annual anti-bullying themed activities, we will also launch the No Place for Hate Initiative!  ​With this new goal, we seek to expand our students knowledge of other cultures, celebrate our diversity as a school community, decrease bias that may cause student disagreements or HIB incidents, and to promote better understanding of one another.

New Student Orientation 2017
 

Hello New Randall Carter Parents and Guardians,

Welcome to Randall Carter Elementary School.  We are very excited for you to join our school community.  We would like to invite you to our New Student Orientation for parents on Friday, August 25th at 10:00 a.m. in the schools media center.  Due to the on-going set up of the rooms, this presentation will be brief and include an overview of the school and a quick tour.  Due to the limited staffing in the summer, please limit attendees to parents and students as there will not be any additional children's supervision or activities set up.

Throughout the week the students will be learning about food allergies and how to help keep their friends with allergies safe through:

          # Teal Tuesday - wear teal to show support for students with food allergies
